My name is Lisa Sullivan and I am a post-doctoral research fellow and contract instructor at the University of Manitoba. The content on this website was created by my students at the University of Manitoba.
For their final projects, students were tasked with creating a (short) blog post, video, podcast or infographic on a topic of their choice related to what they learned in class. These projects were meant to be written with a general audience in mind, meaning that the students explained their topic for someone who didn’t necessarily know anything about linguistics.
This website was built to showcase some of the students’ final projects and provide more information about interesting linguistic questions for the general public. I hope that you enjoy the blog posts, videos, podcasts and infographics on this site and that you are able to learn something new from them.
If you have an questions, concerns (or website title suggestions), feel free to reach out to me at lisa.sullivan@umanitoba.ca.
